The collection consists of research collected by Robert S. Davis concerning Micajah Clark Dyer's flying machine from 1953-1980.

North West Georgia, Ken Akins, and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., regards Clark Dyer, Dyer's descendants, patents,
and Dyer and his flying machine. Miscellaneous items include The story of Clark Dyer and his Flying Machine, written by Ken
Akins, Kitty Hawk Was In North Georgia? A Union County Farmer's Experiments With A Practical Flying Machine, by Robert Scott
Davis, Jr., notes from oral histories of Dyer family members, information about Atlanta REDWINE'S (photocopies from the 1800s),
and photocopies of materials regarding Dyer family descendants. The collection also consists of a diagram of the flying machine,
a photograph of Ken Akins at Clark Dyer's home, and newspaper clippings regarding Clark Dyer and the flying machine.
